The prices are competitive, especially when considering the artisanal care that goes into each dish.

“ Tired of the noisy cafes whet you can’t hear yourself think? Try Howm! It is quiet, peaceful with wonderful service. The staff are friendly and efficient. There is a quirky atmosphere with lovely background music. Great for a moment of respite. ”
“ Lovely little Melbourne city laneway cafe. Friendly service, good food, quiet atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting if you are looking for a quiet spot for a bite. ”
“ Located in one of Melbourne´s most vibrant spots, in Howm you can enter into a cozy and quiet place in the heart of Melbourne´s busiest lanes. Serving staff in fantastic and super friendly, and the food is very tasty as well. I loved every dish I tried - not only the dishes are beautiful to look at, they are very well seasoned. On the other hand (nothing is perfect, right?) the portion sizes are not too big if you like eating heaps (for me, they were enough), and I was able to have breakfast at other places nearby for similar prices with bigger dishes. Having said that, I do recommed the place, hence I returned there many times. ”
“ Saw the brunch for $15 sign board and decided to check the place out. It's for avocado smash and egg benedict only so I ordered the egg benedict. The taste of the food doesnt disappoint, it's actually one of the best egg benedict i've tasted. The ingredients used were fresh. My only wish is for the portion served to be abit bigger. Unfortunately I couldnt commend the same about the service. The food took 15 to 20 mins to serve even though there was only 3 tables of customers. The staff only serve me the water when I'm about to finish my food. They were busy chatting among themselves at the front counter. I would love to return to try other dishes and hopefully the staff will be more attentive next time. ”
“ Went to this cafe for lunch with high expectations, and the experience was not entirely great. We went as a table of 4 and one person received their food and others were left waiting for over 20 mins. This is not acceptable for a cafe as it is expected all food arrives at a similar time, definitely not 20 mins apart. To add to this, all waitresses were continuously talking amongst themselves in the corner. The seating arrangements were not great for larger groups (over 2 people). We were seated with a big cement column in the middle, blocking the view of friends and limiting conversation. Whilst the atmosphere was nice and food was overall good, some food such as the falafel burger and salmon bowl was overpriced for such a small portion. ”
“ Dani was awesome, he was super friendly and helpful. The food was to die for, we ordered the classic shakshuka and the French toast. Coffee was so good that I ended up buying a coffee bean bag. Would definitely recommend :) ”
“ Incredible cafe! Great menu and delicious food. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys great food and service and a comfortable atmosphere. ”
“ A solid place to eat. Coffee was decent but I very much enjoyed the Protein Bowl. Relatively cheap and filling compared to other expensive places around. ”
